An old mate had a saying, “Without people crops rot in the field,” he said. “Without people the great dishes of the world would remain a basket of ingredients and without a person to take dishes to the table they would sit there forever. Food is about people.”
People are the heart and soul of MoVida, from the people who work in our kitchens, those who serve in the front of house to the customers who eat our food and drink our beer and wine. That’s what it’s all about. Sure the work’s hard but doing anything to the standard we do needs people with the right kind of passion and dedication.
When there’s a good match between what we need and what people are willing to offer in our workplaces that’s when the good stuff happens. Some people love working with us and stay for years, and we really enjoy working with them.
